This project is a continuation of the ‘Dear-From’ project. Greeting card messages were rewritten to create absurdities. Words were hybridized with their opposites to create another language. The messages are familiar and alien at the same time. The intention of the juxtaposition of words is to nullify meaning, to convey ‘nothingness.’ The sentimental typography and inexpensive quality of the material used reflect the contradictory nature of the messagess.
